Critical executive position to shape the future of health at RMH
- Collaborate with Government Agencies & Precinct partners
- Build and lead an innovative and cohesive project team
**The Position**
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is committed to the redevelopment of the hospital at Parkville’s Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, as well as an additional site for the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women’s Hospitals at the new Arden site in North Melbourne. To support this outcome the organisation now seeks to appoint a Chief Redevelopment Officer (CRO).

This work will be completed in partnership with the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA), the Department of Health (Infrastructure), The Royal Women’s Hospital and other key stakeholders. The CRO will be a key advocate and influencer for the RMH’s interests and will create a strategic and innovative vision of the future for RMH services.
**The Organisation**
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of Victoria’s largest public health services and provides a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient, and community programs.
Surrounded by the Parkville Precinct of brilliant thinkers, RMH is constantly striving to set new benchmarks in health excellence, with global impact. Patients and consumers are essential to who RMH is, while leading inspiring new research and scientific breakthroughs.
RMH employs more than 10,000 people and values the diverse community’s wellbeing and shared vision of advancing health for everyone, every day. RMH is united in “The Melbourne Way,” of putting people first, leading with kindness, and through collaboration, setting high standards to achieve excellence together.
