**ASSISTANT BEVERAGE MANAGER - MANLY BOATHOUSE**

Our multi-faceted business is like no other. With a busy bustling restaurant, event spaces, patisserie and ‘Fish & Chippery’ there is never a dull moment at Manly Boathouse. And as we now wind up 2024 we are excited to start 2025 with a new Assistant Beverage Manager to help drive the offer, service and our future development plans for an exciting new venue in 2025.

**The Role**

As part of the leadership team, the Assistant Beverage Manager will help drive the bar offer and service. This role will naturally have a strong focus on the bar operations as well as possible input into the winelist, as well as service as a whole.

This hands-on role that will see you overseeing the bar team and driving all components of our beverage service, including curating and overseeing the cocktail list of both Batched and Classics.

You will ideally understand, or have a curiosity to learn about beverage costings and related expense management.

You will evolve all beverage offers, and work with the leadership team to deliver relaxing and seamless service with skill, humour and enthusiasm.

With a passion for customer service, and a love of cocktails, beer and spirits, the Assistant Beverage Manager will have an outgoing and relaxed personal style that puts both customers and staff at ease. With a hands-on approach, and a natural passion and affinity for all things beverage, you will nurture and develop the team.

You will:

- Love all things beverage - cocktails - spirits - beer - and beyond..
- Have solid upmarket restaurant and/or bar experience
- Be a passionate and knowledgeable ‘beverage guy’
- Understand, or be curious to learn how to cost out a beverage list
- Be a natural leader who can oversee and deliver on not only operational duties but also senior administrative and management responsibilities
- Have excellent time and task management skills, and solid verbal communication skills
- Be an effective team player and natural leader
- Be able to work over weekends

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
