**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner. In this role, you will work closely with NDIS participants to develop and implement positive behaviour support strategies. This is a mobile-based, flexible subcontractor position with full administrative support - allowing you to focus on outcomes, not KPIs.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines
- Provide training and coaching to families, carers, and support workers
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, and support networks to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Deliver services in the home, school, and community environments
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all NDIS reporting standards
- Use trauma-informed and person-centred approaches
- Monitor, review, and update behaviour support plans as required

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioural Science, or a related field
- Registration or membership with relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in behaviour support
- Understanding of restrictive practices and relevant legislation
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- ABN and Professional Indemnity/Public Liability insurance
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
