**The Opportunity**
HCA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated **Planner - New Build** based in our **Wacol Branch**. In this role you will be responsible for the achievement of customer satisfaction via the delivery of new machines on time and to a quality standard.
**Reporting to the New Builds Supervisor, you will also**:
- Review and set New Machine build schedule based on Sales department priorities
- Open work orders, process parts orders and purchase orders
- Receipting supplier invoices & the closing & invoicing of work orders
- Cost and submit work orders to the new builds team
- Manage workflow through contractors and effectively communicate customer requirements
- Engage and onboard new suppliers, ensuring inductions are completed, all company documentation is supplied and completed prior to work commencing
- Monitor progress of production to schedule and modify schedules as required
- Procure and manage the supply of parts and resources in accordance with meeting the delivery schedule.
- Ensure sufficient inventory is held to meet build volume requirements.
- Implement new processes and further improve current planning practices to deliver our forecast targets.
- Work within the company’s WHS policy and identify opportunities to improve.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers
- Identification of continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is essential
- Willingness to get things done and the interest to help coordinate a wide variety of office tasks and team needs
