Bunnings Frame and Truss are now looking for an Detailing Coordinator / Manager for our brand new Wacol Detailin team. With use of the latest software, excellent training and development strategies from Bunnings Group and help from our National F&T team now has never been a better time to join Bunnings F&T.
About the Role:
As the Detailing Coordinator / Manager for our brand new F&T plant in Wacol QLD you will be responsible for driving effective solutions to ensure productivity, production and our customer experiences are met. Part of the role will involve achieving efficiency and supporting lowest costs through value engineering designs and efficiency of design teams. Being able to guide and lead the technical team on a day to day basis to ensure all design jobs requested are scheduled, allocated and completed in line with Bunnings policies, building code standards, technical and customer requirements whilst reporting directly to the Frame & Truss Regional Technical Manager.
In addition to the above your role will help drive the future of F&T at Bunnings, by developing new strategies and ways of working as our business continues to expand across Australia and New Zealand.
With Frame & Truss Sites operating in Wacol, Minto, Warnervale, Unanderra, Hallam and Truganina there couldn’t be a better time to join the Bunnings Commercial team as we look to expand our F&T offering across VIC, QLD and NSW. You will have access to a wide range of knowledge and experience whilst reporting directly to our National F&T Relationship Manager.
With plans to grow the Minto team you can expect to lead a large team of Detailers from Junior to Senior level. You will have a variety of Vendors, Suppliers, Clients and greater Bunnings Group to work with in which your leadership and influencing skills will be tested daily. As the F&T team continues to grow your role will be essential in helping to streamline processes and manage internal expectations.
What's involved:
- Action customer feedback to improve the end-to-end customer experience
- Develop performance targets to improve Detailing performance
- Ensure Detailing teams are fully trained in the latest software and manufacturing techniques.
- Prepare costing that achieve minimum margin as set by the business and aim to maximize gross profit
Who we're looking for:
As an Detailing Coordinator / Manager for Frame and Truss you will be a highly driven individual with a strong knowledge of Frame & Truss, Construction, Manufacturing or Leadership within Bunnings. Previous experience in leading large teams with a focus on Quoting/Estimating or Design with an ability to develop strong teams. You must be able to wear many hats, influence multiple stakeholders and have a solid understanding of reporting, KPI’s in productivity and exceeding client expectations.
Bunnings Frames and Truss are now looking for an Detailing Coordinator / Manager for our brand new Minto Estimating team. With use of the latest software, excellent training and development strategies from Bunnings Group and help from our National F&T team now has never been a better time to join Bunnings F&T.
You'll need:
- Knowledge of the Building industry codes and products
- Previous building experience
- Knowledge of engineering/drawing programs
- An ability to work in and contribute to a team
- Ability to read and interpret building plans
- Knowledge of software packages such as Pryda or AutoCAD.
