**About the role**

Platinum Preschool is looking for a Kitchen Hand/Break Cover to join our team in Randwick, NSW. This part-time role includes preparing morning/afternoon meals and break cover for staff. **Must have a childcare qualification.**

**What you'll be doing**
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children, following established menus and dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, ensuring all food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils are kept in a hygienic condition
- Assist with general food ordering and stock management to ensure the kitchen is well-supplied
- Provide break cover for childcare staff as required
- Comply with all food safety regulations and preschool policies and procedures

**What we're looking for**
- Previous experience working in a kitchen/childcare environment,
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for providing nutritious and enjoyable meals for young children
