**About the Role**
Jones Radiology is seeking a dedicated Human Resources and Payroll Advisor to join our People & Culture team. The HR and Payroll Advisor works between both the HR and Sydney based Payroll function, facilitating the management of key aspects related to the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include onboarding processes, handling contract variations, day-to-day HR processes, system management, and termination procedures. This role provides essential support to the HR Business Partners and wider operations teams, in facilitating smooth and efficient HR processes.
The HR and Payroll Advisor will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR systems and process functions, contributing to the overall success of Jones Radiology. **Reporting Relationships**
- Reports to the General Manager People & Culture
- Collaborate closely with the People & Culture team: HR Business Partners, Finance and Payroll Analyst, Payroll and Rostering support teams based in Sydney
- Partner with Area Managers, Clinic Leaders, and the wider Operations team
**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing advice and support to employees and managers on various HR matters.
- Work alongside the Payroll team and the Finance and Payroll Analyst to carry out day-to-day payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Administer the timely and accurate processing of employee data and information within HRIS, rostering, and payroll systems.
- Implement and monitor the new starter and onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organisation. Formulate and process contract variations and internal appointments.
- Coordinate the development, maintenance, and review of the operational Work Force Plan, systems, frameworks, policies, and processes.
- Support the wider HR team to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs that promote employee engagement, retention, and overall organisational success.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Promoting and supporting initiatives designed to improve employee engagement and the culture of Jones Radiology.
- System management with a particular focus on data integrity and reporting.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business/management, law or related fields (desirable).
- AHRI Membership (desirable)
- Experience in healthcare administration related field (desirable).
- Return to Work certification (desirable).
- Capacity for understanding, problem solving and knowledge of the theory and practice of HRM/IR/ER.
- Demonstrated ability utilising HR and Payroll software (desirable systems include (Oracle, UKG, Preceda). (desirable)
