With no two days the same, you will be confident in inspecting and repairing all types of vehicles to the highest standards.
You will be a qualified & knowledgeable mechanic and have a proven background in servicing, maintenance repairs, diagnostics, fault finding and repairing as well as general vehicle reconditioning.
This position will suit someone experienced who is looking to advance in their career.
**About you**:
- Cert III or higher qualification and as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Have at least two years’ experience as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment
- Strong ability to produce a high standard of work within a fast-paced environment.
- A Team player with a desire to grow & develop a rewarding long-term career.
- Results driven with strong eye for detail & technical/mechanical ability
- Positive calm demeanour, punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills both oral & written.
- Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused
- Knowledge and operation of all relevant Health & Safety regulations
- Valid Full Manual Drivers Licence essential
- Be available to work rotational Saturdays
**Position Description**:
- Providing expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles
- Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body, and suspension components
- Overlooking all technician’s work
- Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using service reporting systems
- Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to return of vehicles to the customer
- Always maintaining a safe working environment
- Assisting the Service Manager when and where required
