This is an important role within the business, with a key focus on productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

This role will suit a qualified technician who wants to expand their day-to-day role to a more administrational and leadership position.

You will understand productivity and efficiency in a workshop and can lead a team by allocating work to maximise efficiency and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Allocating work to technicians
- Motivating and training workshop staff while maintaining targets and deadlines
- Help identify additional work and liaise with the Service Manager and customers.
- Mentor new apprentices and junior technicians
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard within allocated timelines and be willing to help complete mechanical work to meet customer expectations
- Complete necessary paperwork including job cards and safety inspection sheets.
- Place customer satisfaction at high importance and value
- A Full Trade Qualification with minimum 5 years in-workshop experience
- Previous background as a Workshop Controller, Master Technician, Technician, or experienced Service Advisor
- Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and fault diagnostic skills
- High standards in customer service and customer care
- Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions.
- Current full drivers’ licence
- Needs to be living in Australia and be a citizen, resident or have a suitable visa.
- Available to work Monday-Friday plus rotational Saturday mornings.
