**Your new company**
Hays has partnered with one of Australia’s largest steelmakers, supplying steel building products for residential and commercial projects across the country for over 150 years. Manufacturing an extensive range of products including roofing, walling, guttering, fencing, purlins, and formwork, they are now looking for an experienced customer service professional to join their team.

**Your new role**
As the customer service representative, you will be front of house assisting customers with their needs and lending your industry and product experience to ensure that they get the best possible service. You will be responsible for functions including:

- Greeting customers
- Assisting customers with their requests and helping them make their selections
- Ensure that the customer has everything required to complete each job
- Processing of customer orders
- Taking phone enquiries
- Data entry
- General operational administration duties
- Supporting other members of the customer service team

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, it would be preferred you have the following:

- Previous experience in a similar role and product knowledge to assist customers
- Previous experience in a customer service / sales / administration role
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Good understanding or willingness to learn basic computer processes
