Create your best future and join Westpac as a **Portfolio Management Lead** **What’s the role?** As the Portfolio Management Chapter Lead, you play a key role in shaping and evolving transformation governance. You develop and continuously improve policies, standards, and processes, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and adaptable to varying program sizes, risks, and delivery methods. You also oversee the use of digital tools and automation, driving smarter workflows and enabling data-informed decision-making. You collaborate across Technology and Divisional teams to enhance lifecycle processes, provide coaching on delivery standards, and maintain strong relationships with PMOs and Program Directors. Through capability uplift initiatives, audit monitoring, and feedback loops, you foster a strong, inclusive community of practice—aligning portfolio management frameworks and championing strategic prioritisation across the organisation. **What do I need?** - Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering complex transformation initiatives, with a strong understanding of cross-functional change. - Advanced program and project management capabilities, with proven success in the banking or financial services sector. - Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across diverse teams and perspectives. - Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing policies, standards, and controls that support scalable and inclusive transformation. - Advanced change management skills, with a focus on enabling sustainable outcomes and supporting people through transition. **Why join us?** We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
