**About the role**:
Reporting to the Group Manager of Financial Risk, this is a pivotal role that will analyse risks within Origin’s commodity trading portfolios including LNG, Gas & electricity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analysis of risks within Origin’s commodity trading portfolios.
- Write risk reports and share with risk committees, articulating portfolio outlooks and risk scenarios.
- Coordinate engagement with teams across the business to ensure transparency and information sharing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement & streamlining to promote efficiency and greater collective output.

**What will you bring**:
A proactive approach to learning and developing relationships. Tertiary qualifications in a numerate discipline. In addition, you’ll possess:

- 5+ years’ experience in a risk management / equivalent middle office function.
- Strong communication & leadership skills.
- High attention to detail in checking/reconciling data.
- Experience within commodity or the energy industry is desirable though not essential.
