**The opportunity
The purpose of the Planning and Reporting Manager role is to support the Asia Pacific (APAC) Market Unit Executive Leadership Team and Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Board in providing high quality, timely, accurate and insightful financial performance reporting and effective forecasting and annual planning processes.

The role will also involve acting as a key member of the team responsible for driving process improvements across APAC and for leading finance elements of cross APAC projects including Future of Finance projects.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)

**How will I help?**

**You will add value by**:

- ** Partner to Functional Teams and APAC Businesses**:Assist in providing effective financial performance reporting across APAC such as monthly Flash reporting and APAC executive reporting, global and local Board reporting and Corporate Centre business review presentations. In addition, this includes reporting required for Internal Communications, External Media, Rating Agency Reviews and other ad hoc reporting as required. This requires linkage with strategic objectives and an integrated understanding of business performance across the APAC businesses.
- **Enterprise Reporting and Planning**:Assist in continually enhancing the integration and consolidated reporting processes of the individual businesses into the APAC Market Unit. In addition, improving the quality of reporting, ensuring information is timely, accurate and insightful, and supports effective decision making for senior management. Specifically, this will include providing value-added commercial insights, analysis and reporting to support decision making and driving financial outcomes.
- **Management of delivery of the annual planning process across APAC**: Assist in coordination of all aspects of financial planning for APAC, including Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts, and 3 Year Plans. This will involve assisting with driving an appropriately integrated and challenging plan across APAC and ensuring that the Plan is able to be used to deliver the strategic objectives of the business. Collaborate with key stakeholders across APAC and the broader organisation to ensure effective delivery of our key financial targets.

**What do I need?**
- Finance/Business Degree Qualified
- CA / CPA Qualified
- Experience in a similar business finance role within a large complex organization (8+ years) or Professional Services background
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to understand the dynamics of multifaceted business
- Requires high attention to detail and the ability to build out and deliver structured timelines
