**About the role**:
At Coles, our Distribution Centres play a key role moving products through our Supply Chain, to provide extraordinary in store shopping experiences for our customers.

We’re looking for a **Planning Analyst** to join our brand-new Automated Distribution Centre

This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in the commissioning of our second automated distribution centre which will use world-class technology to modernise our Supply Chain. Epic in scale and design, our new facility represents the future of logistics.

Located in Kemps Creek New South Wales, our new facility will deliver outstanding service level fulfilment to our stores. Critical to the site’s success, are our people who’ll enable seamless operational delivery.

As Planning Analyst, you will be required to assist in resource planning activities to support the ADC and our leaders to effectively forecast, plan and roster resources to meet safety, budget and operational requirements.

Primary duties include:

- Oversee the planning and forecasting of rosters, which include team member functionality.
- Analyse data to provide information and reports that support timely decision making and the cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Maintain the planning/roster tools to support ADC processes and ensure KPIs are met.
- Support the planning, implementation and monitoring of site initiatives to improve service quality and reduce costs.

**About you and your skills**:

- 2 years plus experience in labour scheduling.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline preferred but not essential.
- Strong background within supply chain, logistics and/or operations of a large retail environment.
- Experience working with Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA) and awards is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to code and work with large datasets across Excel and PowerBI.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with site leadership and individuals at all levels, coupled with the ability to influence and present to them.
- Ability to utilise key financial data and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and outcomes.
