**The role**:
This Government Department is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to assist the business and IT Function with Financial Tracking and Budget Planning

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Undertake a range of project support services including budget and financial reporting
- Tracking budget spend and running transaction reports
- End-of-Month finance reporting and processing
- Preparation of monthly projects performance reporting.
- Maintain actuals & forecasts against IT budget in the tracking sheet for projects.

**You will need**:

- Strong experience working as a Finance Officer ideally working on IT Projects
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Tracking and Budget Planning
- Strong experience and knowledge of Excel
- Prior Government experience would be beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
