In this leadership role, the AM Operations Manager will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Determine and set daily rosters for labour- Monitor AM sortation and staff productivity- Provide daily and weekly reporting- Train staff in local procedures and the use of materials handling equipment- Participate in and lead teams in formulating recommendations for process improvements- Maintain records of work performed and report on key performance indicators- Ensure enforcement and compliance with all operational procedures and security systems- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the transport and logistics industry- Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations, including the scheduling of deliveries and the management of drivers excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness- A valid driver's license and clean driving record

The AM Operations Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs, including fuel usage and MHE maintenance, to ensure cost-effective operations.

Working hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays and non-aligned public holidays as needed.
