We are looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our Team Global Express Division at Dry Creek. Working Monday to Friday on the AM Shift you will be responsible for the daily management of handler and warehouse resources. Safety will be a priority, along with ensuring operations comply with TGE policies and procedures.

As the AM Shift Supervisor, you will:
- Work with counterparts in sending states to forecast incoming freight volumes for the morning shift- Ensure incoming freight, inter and intrastate is processed in a timely manner to ensure it meets Fleet departure times- Comply with legislative WHS requirements and TGE Code of Practice- Support operational teams with development and implementation of strategies- Mentor, Coach and Train staff where required to meet KPI’s- Identify and facilitate opportunities to improve site processes and improvements with efficiency and controlling costs- Proactively support a positive and motivated team culture that strives for excellence- Facilitate toolbox meetings and ensure compliance with NHVAS requirements- Undertake analysis of project operations to detect inefficiencies

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Transport/Logistics industry- Previous experience within a leadership or management role- Exceptional analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills- the ability to adapt an evolving and changing work environment- Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills- Outstanding communication - written and verbal- Intermediate MS Office Suite knowledge - Word, Excel, Power Point- Forklift and MR-HC licence would be considered an advantage
