**The role**

We are looking for an experienced **HSEQ Coordinator** that is looking for their next career move. The role will give you an opportunity to work autonomously, develop your career, work hard and do your part to keep our teams safe and maintain quality standards of our operations. We love to do things differently at Land Surveys and we want you to join our team in this newly established full-time role

**What will you do?**

Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, you will be responsible for the daily Health, Safety, Environment and Quality requirements and contribute to our east coast projects. Regular travel to support our operations is required.
- Maintain an active HSEQ presence, and drive safety culture by being present in the field and on projects
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management System and maintaining ISO 45001 / 9001 certification
- Conduct workplace inspections and internal audits of sites, identify hazards, present recommendations, and implement preventative strategies
- Facilitating and participating in HAZID workshops / Construction Risk Assessment Workshops (CRAWs) / project risk assessments.
- Contribute to monitoring, reporting, and reviewing HSEQ performance and outcomes
- Report incidents, coordinate investigations, create hazard reports, develop, and monitor corrective actions
- Advise management of HSEQ compliance and risk management
- Provide HSEQ material for pre-starts, toolbox talks, and HSE related meetings
- Provide HSEQ support to tender / pre-qualification process
- Regular travel to undertake HSEQ support services

**What you need to succeed**

As well as having a no problems just solutions attitude, you will need:

- Relevant Work Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma or equivalent)
- Construction industry experience (Desirable)
- Experience in working with ISO certified systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 9001) (Desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Current C Class Driver's license

**An advantage to have**:

- Internal Management System Audit qualification (QMS)
- ICAM / TapRoot® or equivalent Investigation qualification
- Working knowledge of WHS legislative framework across multiple jurisdictions
