Ignite Early Learning Centres are an established, family-owned business who have been operating since 2012. We have over 20 years’ experience within the childcare industry, with 3 of our centres located in Sydney.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our growing support team 5 days per week in a permanent full-time capacity. Our high-quality education and care services are beautifully designed, boasting strong occupancy and a positive work environment.
**The Role.** To facilitate, guide, role model and manage a range of strategic and operational initiatives across Ignite Early Learning Centres including but not limited to learning & development, recruitment, performance management, policies and procedures. Implement changes and improvements to ensure centres are operating to an optimum level and the best practice care is provided.

**Key Responsibility Areas**
- To ensure and oversee all business functions across the business including but not limited to, Operations and compliance of each service a, Human Resources, Marketing, Customer care and family relations team and education.
- Work with customer service to ensure occupancy and lead conversion and centre tours are conducted.
- Develop and implement an Operations Manual comprising all the required policies sand procedure per section. The Operational Manual broken up into quality areas.
- Successfully implement newly created Operational Manual, policies, procedures, and document at all ignite Early Learning Services for consistent effective and uniform operations across all services.
- Manage setup and operational policies, procedures and processes of new Centre acquisitions including ongoing supervision of all Centre’s within assigned area.
- Complete full business and operational audits and assessments prior to settlement to have Centre fully functional according to service and company goals including occupancy, presentation and Ignite branding, wage analysis, resources, outdoor area, etc.
- Ensure all centres are operating effectively in all aspects, including occupancy, staffing, administration and working with management to meet financial performance objectives including debt levels and financial budgets.
- Leading Centre Leaders, Assistant Directors, Family Relations Team and all teams in reaching maximum potential in the centre’s occupancy through role modelling and setting tasks regarding the centre presentation/aesthetics, professionalism, 6 star customer service, marketing and over all service excellence.
- Maintain contact with the Centre Leaders on all matters pertaining to the budgets and finance related items within the centre.
- Maintain budgets and conduct monthly P & L with Owners
- 100% occupancy to be always maintained for current Centre’s
**Min Requirement**
- Minimum 3+ years experience in an operations manager role
- Qualifications in the related field.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations including modern Awards, National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Regulations and practices used within HR.
- Be passionate about people and unlocking their potential
- Ability to analyse data, identify critical needs and bring innovative ideas that enable the organisation to change and grow
- Able to develop strong, professional relationships with all internal/external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, policies, and procedures and communicate these to all staff
- A passion for process improvement and problem solving
- High level of self-awareness placing importance on building trust, respect and playing an active role in creating a positive team culture
- A positive, fun and hardworking professional with a can-do attitude
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36 per week
**Salary**: $70,793.83 - $153,600.71 per year
