**About the role**
The role aims to facilitate successful changes to the Technology Environments by contributing to key components of the ITL service management framework, including change, release, and service performance. Key responsibilities include managing change delivery, coordinating monthly enterprise releases, conducting disaster recovery tests as per APRA guidelines, and generating monthly service reports for business pillars. Within RACQ’s 3 lines of defence risk model this role is defined as ‘exclusively 1st line’.
- Participate in scheduling and executing DR/Technology BCP tests, collaborating with relevant technology teams or vendors. Create and maintain DR documentation, schedule DR review meetings, and document associated actions.
- Prepare detailed test reports and document processes, procedures, and tools for DR event management. Provide significant support to the IT leadership team during emergency DR processes.
- Work with cross-functional technology teams to develop and maintain all ICT DR Continuity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- This role offers opportunity to cross skill, train and get across other key areas such as Technical Change Management, Enterprise Release Management and Service Reporting.
**About you**
- Experience in disaster recovery and / or business continuity.
- Experience leading teams that handle high volume processing activities with a focus on high quality. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members.
- ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
- Prior experience in any of Release Management, Change Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Service Management, or Project Management is preferred.
- Knowledge of APRA CPS Prudential Standards will be an advantage.
- Prior experience working in a financial services sector is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills along with problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with technology systems such as JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, and SharePoint is advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience resolving conflicts and disputes at the team level.
