Looking to put your strong ITIL skills to use in a member-oriented environment? We are seeking a Service Design and Transition Analyst to join our Service Design and Transition team within Technology. This Service Design and Transition Analyst role will lead support across our two regulated entities of RACQ Bank and RACQ Insurance and non-regulated Membership / Assistance pillar with the following functions
1. Support and manage the delivery of effective changes to the Technology Environments.
2. Planning, Scheduling, Coordination and Transition of Monthly enterprise releases
3. Planning and Execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) Tests as per APRA guidelines
4. Responsible for generating the Monthly Service Reports for our three business pillars
Two of the above functions of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Monthly Service Reports are under the purview of APRA. These functions are delivered by considerate execution of the change life cycle for internal and external technical deliveries. Alongside participating in the creation, maintenance, execution, assessment and reporting of the ICT DR planning and execution processes within RACQ’s Technology division.
- Managing multi system deployments and release activities.
- Liaise with internal and external business and IT partners on release scheduling and communication of progress
- Ensure new solutions are designed in line with best practice industry standards such that our customers are delivered the desired outcomes and that platforms are easily supported from an on-going operations perspective
- Analyse, review and Assess release components. Create and maintain release deployment plans and associated documentation. Alert relevant stakeholders of any risks or issues that need to be addressed.
- Assess Operational readiness requirements of the Solution. Ensure non-technical Operational aspects of a release are transitioned in line with the established Operational readiness criteria.
- Participation in the scheduling and coordinating the execution of DR / Technology BCP tests along with relevant Technology teams or vendors.
- Evaluate risks to integrity of services inherent in proposed implementations, seek authority for those activities, review the effectiveness of release implementation, and suggest improvement to organisational or change management procedures
**About You**
- Experience in Change Management, Release Management, Disaster Recovery (DR) or Service management is highly desirable.
- Robust In-depth knowledge of ITIL, incident, problem, change and release processes highly desirable
- Strong problem solving, decision-making skills, research and analytical skill.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery Testing is not necessary but will be an advantage.
