This role will provide exposure to the latest supermarket refrigeration systems and provide opportunities to further develop your skills. We also provide our team members with the latest product training via our relationships with industry-leading partners.

**The Role
**As an Installation Technician in the Woolworths Refrigeration Installation team (WRI), you will ensure that equipment is installed to the highest of standards to ensure that our stores are able to provide a great service to our customers

In the role, your responsibilities will be:

- Installing Refrigeration equipment into new and existing Woolworths stores
- Installation of Transcritical and subcritical refrigeration as well as R404a and R134a systems from planning stage through to commissioning
- Planning, coordinating and completing projects in conjunction with your project manager
- Playing a mentoring role to more junior technicians and apprentices
- Reviewing and assessing tasks to be completed
- Completing associated paperwork on time
- Material stocktake and ordering
- Liaising with our technical team on the status of tasks
- Assist your project manager in the scheduling and planning of labour resources
- Developing relationships with our facilities management, support and technical teams, store managers and teams
- Working closely with construction teams including informing engineers, planning for replacements, and assisting in prioritising capital works

**Who we’re looking for
If you have had experience in installation or are a seasoned professional we are looking for you. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in refrigeration installation, running of pipework in supermarkets and connection to all types of refrigeration fixtures.
- Trade qualifications in HVAC & Refrigeration
- Solid post apprenticeship experience, including experience within the commercial refrigeration service and installation industry, with commercial supermarket experience.
- An understanding of Co2 systems, Emerson & RDM controls advantageous
- Confidence in new refrigeration/air conditioning control technologies
- Flexibility to travel to various sites throughout QLQ and Northern NSW
- A good level of computer literacy (Google suite of Apps an advantage)
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
- Excellent communication skills
