Supply Chain Analyst

Look no further We are searching for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our vibrant Australian WD-40 Crew. As an integral COG () in our small but mighty Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Sales, Marketing, R&D and Finance teams as well as our external partners to help ensure our products are forecasted, manufactured, distributed and measured efficiently. With a close-knit team of 23 in Australia, and as part of a global brand, we are looking for someone who enjoys understanding and getting involved in all areas of Supply Chain, rolling up their sleeves to help others, thrives in a hands-on environment and is eager to contribute to our culture, business goals and strategic objectives. **Responsibilities**: - Demand forecasting and production planning. - Inventory Management - Margin Optimization and protection - Supplier performance management - Review and analyse freight data - Work closely with the local freight forwarder partner - Collaborate with suppliers on supply plan including monitoring schedules, ocean freight, local production plans and communicate any potential delays. - Build relationships with local and offshore raw material and packaging suppliers. - Generating purchase orders for slow moving finished goods, components. Reconcile slow moving stock and create action plans with internal stakeholders to clear inventory. - Work with our internal ERP system and associated tools. - Analysis and validation of Cost of Goods. - Update Bill of Material documents for new and existing SKUs. - Provide gross margin improvement recommendations during NPD development. - Analyse current supply chain processes, procedures and sourcing activities to recommend improvements to drive material cost down and improve the quality of the products/services delivered. - Conducting pricing negotiations for tier 2 suppliers where appropriate. - Reviewing, analysis & reporting of monthly operations performance metrics; lead supplier meetings to address performance issues.
