Prodoz also manufactures and sells a wide range of cocopeat products under the Ecomix Australia brand. Ecomix provides a comprehensive range of new high-tech, new-generation horticultural growing media. An eco-sustainable and innovative company, Ecomix Australia has achieved market recognition and significant market acceptance with their cocopeat product range.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing/Logistics/Inventory Assistant. Our ideal person is someone who is an enthusiastic and professional worker who can follow procedures and manage orders and documentation. This person will need to be able to work independently and within a small team, and have an open mind for learning and adding to their skills. You must have a positive can-do attitude and have great organisational skills. Having these attributes will see you excel in this role allowing for scope to grow in duties and responsibilities within the business.

KEY TASKS

  • Reviewing and processing purchase requisitions
  • Generating and issuing purchase orders
  • Communicate & manage  with overseas suppliers for import permits regulations.
  • Liaison with import companies to manage all incoming goods from overseas.
  • Arrange and coordinate freight forwarding/Logistics  around Australia and Overseas.
  • Managing high volume orders effectively and efficiently and investigating alternatives as required
  • Expediting purchase orders and reviewing delivery performance
  • Reporting non-conforming products/services
  • Inventory control & Management.
  • Provide support to the Managing Director, our sales representatives, and the Logistics and warehouse team.
  • General administrative tasks.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven purchasing experience within a high volume supply chain
  • Sound understanding of ERP systems, Zoho Inventory
  • Solid understanding and experience of inter-entity transactions.
  • Current Unleashed / Zoho inventory
  • software experience
  • Ability to work autonomously & as part of a small team.
  • Experience in  supply chain/inventory management
  • Must be thorough and have attention to detail.
  • Be willing and able to learn new software programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to fit in.
  • Having a logical and meticulous manner in following company procedures
  • Very good time management skills and ability to priorities tasks to ensure good workflow.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
