Project Support Officer

We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic **Project Support Officer **to join our Federal Government client
This is your chance to make a difference for our client working within the Defence space in this **12 month contract **with **an additional extensions **offered.
**Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain an NV1 security clearance **will be considered for this role.
**The experience and skills for this role are**:
- Providing coordination and support services to the Project / Project Manager / Program Manager
- Providing secretariat services for regular IPT meetings and other meetings as required
- Supporting the Program Manager with implementing, maintaining, and improving the project management framework, including plans and tools to ensure effective management of scope, cost, procurement, schedule, risk, resources, performance monitoring, benefits realisation (test and evaluation), communication, information, and integration/stakeholder engagement
- Support the Program Manager in maintaining and improving information management practices and project documentation
- Supporting commercial procurement activities including the collaborative development of Statement of Work(s) (SOWs) with Strategic Partners
- Strong background in finance and Defence
