**Salary**: $110,000-$120,000 inclusive of superannuation
Location: Office location will be determined dependent on the right applicant, as we have offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane

**Role Overview**

The role of Planning & Insights Manager supports media planning and fuels the agencies strategic thinking for clients. The Planning and Insights team is here to support the agency and clients in creating actionable audience insights from data through research and analytical techniques. This role will partner closely with the Head of Analytics to develop audience insights that in form media strategy and integrated channel planning on key accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Researching and evaluating client category, market and business data.
- Overseeing campaign budget allocation through analytical techniques such as forecasting.
- Identifying target audiences through our proprietary tool Audience Origin and analysing their behaviour, characteristics, and routines.
- Preparing and presenting analysis to inform proposals to client/s.
- Assessing the success of media advertising plans and campaigns through reported and modelled data.
- Support with the design and management of research projects for key client/s.
- Build and maintain client/s dashboards.
- Visualise data in a way that creates actionable insights for the strategy and planning teams.
- Keep up to date with advances in data science and data management technologies.
- Build strong and enduring relationships across key account/s.
- Promote open, collaborative, supportive and dynamic relationships throughout the agency and the network.
- Engage with other internal Mindshare and GroupM teams to share knowledge.
- Ensure a sound, reliable, ethical, and robust governance framework is functioning effectively in line with WPP/GroupM policies and compliance requirements.

**What We Value**
- Education in data science, analytics, marketing or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as an analyst, planner or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of analytics tools and campaign evaluation metrics.
- An analytical mind with a creative eye. Appreciates the art and science of Analytical Planning.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to work well within a team.
- Outstanding coder, proficient in a range of data science software packages.
- Experience constructing digital reporting dashboards, and strong understanding of digital media and platforms, i.e., ad servers, Facebook, Google Ads, Campaign Manager, DV360, etc.
- Highly numerate with an analytical mind and broad understanding of the media industry.
- High attention to detail, with ability to efficiently and effectively spot errors.
- A strong client centric mindset, responsive, reliable with ability to manage expectations of internal clients.
- Actively contributes to the growth of the Mindshare Strategy, planning, and Research business.
- An excellent work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills.
- Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Initiative is key, this role will need a “let me figure this out” attitude rather than “tell me what to do attitude”.
- A passion for continual learning.
- Team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
