Student Experience Officer

**Remuneration**:$81,390 - $87,368 p.a. + super

**About The Role**:
Bendigo Kangan Institute are seeking a **Student Experience Officer **to join our Student Services team in Bendigo. You will work across a range of student-centred programs and play a pivotal role in supporting student engagement and success. Your previous stakeholder engagement experience, as well as your strong sense of teamwork will be crucial to your success in this role.

Your understanding of effective communication across diverse cohorts will allow you to confidently engage with students and support engagement efforts. In a collaborative approach, you will work closely with the events and marketing teams when facilitating student events across campuses. The Student Experience Officer will have demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of team, striving to support the achievement of team goals.

**We are excited about you because you have**:

- Diploma qualified in welfare, community services, customer service, public relations or related field or equivalent student or customer care experience
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of vocational education sector (desired)
- Experience working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, Indigenous backgrounds and individuals who identify in the LGBTIQA+ community
- Strong understanding and familiarity with the Working with Children Act 2005, the Child Wellbeing and Safety Amendment Act 2016 and the Child Safe Standards
