**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for a new Project Controller to join our Utilities and Infrastructure team in a full-time permanent capacity based at our CBD head office, with flexible working welcomed. The position itself will play a key role in implementing and maintaining efficient and effective financial controls on our assigned projects.
This role is an incredible opportunity to work directly with and influence our projects through the monitoring of financial controls, forecasting and reporting to enable good project governance and informed decision making by the broader project team and other internal stakeholders.
**About you**:
**In this role you will deliver**:
- Development and maintenance of project budget and cost management systems, including reporting and evaluating performance of projects against overall timeframe and cost goals
- Project and Portfolio Controls - monitor and manage financial risks from an overall portfolio perspective
- Program/Project Reporting and Governance - develop and maintain the project forecast and reporting system for assigned projects
- Contract Management - supporting project manager with preparation of documentation for tenders and contracts
- Developing and Maintaining Stakeholder Relationships - facilitate monthly financial review meetings to report and review time, cost, risks, opportunities, and any escalations
**To succeed in this role you will have**:
- Tertiary education in Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Contract Management advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at different levels across the business
- Experience in SAP financial reports and project planning tools (e.g. MS Project) is desirable
- Experience using Excel and Word essential
