**About the Role**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Project Controller to join our growing Financial Controls team on a full-time permanent capacity based at our CBD head office.

Reporting to the Team Lead Financial Controls, this position will provide ongoing support to the broader team, including Project Managers and Engineers with the financial control of our infrastructure projects.

This includes being responsible for providing reporting, invoice management, data integrity and data analysis with the goal to ensure that project governance and informed decision making by the project team and other internal stakeholders.

**About you**:
**In this role you will deliver**:

- Assist in the development and maintenance of the project budget and cost management system, including reporting and evaluating performance of projects against overall timeframe and cost goals
- Work with the Project Managers to undertake monthly review and updates on the project and budget lifecycle
- Maintain project data integrity in SAP, ensuring that Network activity dates, hours and forecasts are aligned with the project schedule
- Project office activities for newly initiated projects including SAP applicant, SAP project attachments, maintain and update milestone dates and project approval values
- Processing and payment of invoices, invoice reconciliation, coordinating and registering accruals
- Assistance with project development activities including options analysis, creation of estimates, value improvements, project approvals.

**To succeed in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree Qualification in either Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Commerce, Business, Accounting is preferred
- Experience with SAP and other project management, estimating or management tools are desirable
- Well-developed verbal/written communication, interpersonal and reporting skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrates initiative, sound judgement and decision making
- Ability to actively identify, share and act on lessons learned and relevant good practices, sharing in and across the team/s as appropriate.
