**About the Role**:
We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Project Controller to join our growing Maintenance team, based at our CBD head office on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Delivery Manager
- Maintenance, this role will drive project control functions to enable an optimal, transparent and risk-managed delivery of the works program to ensure business needs and expectations are satisfied.

These project control functions include cost control, scheduling, contract management, data integrity and issues tracking. For program and/or portfolio controls this includes activities related to monitoring, reporting and governance oversight.

**What you will deliver**:

- Development and maintenance of contract budgets and cost management in SAP (e.g., PO creation, client invoicing, etc.).
- Develop budget and forecast expenditure baseline and undertake monthly review and updates for full contract lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain contract forecasts and reporting, covering financial and time data, milestones, contract lifecycle status and enabling production of business and delivery manager reports.
- Supporting Delivery Manager with preparation of documentation for tenders and contracts.
- Aid monthly review meetings with key portfolio/program level stakeholders to report and review program time, cost, gate status, risks, opportunities, and any escalations.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all key stakeholders to enable successful delivery of Energy Solutions contracts and projects.
- Coordinating financial close out of major contracts and working with Finance for asset finalisations and WIP balance.

**To succeed in this role you will have**:

- Tertiary education in Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Contract Management is advantageous
- Understanding of Project and Portfolio Controls Framework and internal decision making processes.
- Experience working in a project team environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues at different levels across the business
- Experience in SAP financial reports and project planning tools (e.g. MS Project) is desirable
- Experience using Excel and Word essential
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, writing and face-to-face)
- Experience with contract scheduling, cost control and issues tracking
- Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools, systems and technologies.
