As the Teller/ Customer Service Officer, you will be the ‘face’ of the Bank within the Branch, providing exceptional customer service to our customer network. You will enjoy developing and maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external customers, by providing advice and information on BOQ’s products and services. On a day to day basis your key responsibilities will consist of:
- Teller duties including cash handling, general enquiries, deposits, withdrawals, ATM maintenance & cash management
- Discussing financial needs with customers, including account opening and associated services
- Inbound and outbound calling to maintain and build customer relationships
- Strong focus on compliance which is mandatory in the financial services industry
- Basic office admin duties which will require common sense and organisational skills
**About you**
As a person experienced in a Customer Service role with excellent communication skills, you will thrive in this environment, by demonstrating:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably from the banking industry
- "Can do" approach to all aspects of your new dynamic role
- Willingness to go above and beyond for your customers and colleagues
- Driven to take a personalised approach with every customer interaction
- Ability to listen and learn new concepts and systems and confidently use a number of technical financial systems
- Ability to handle many different tasks in a day
- Contributor to a collaborative team environment
- Willingness and ability to follow direction and instructions
