**Opportunity**
Join a Federal government agency as Assistant Product Owner on a long term 12 month initial contract with ongoing potential. This Executive Level 1 role can be based in almost any capital city. Distributed Agile team. The Agency is implementing Salesforce Service and Health Cloud, and migrating away from SAP. In addition a range of digital apps and APIs are being built to drive customer experience.
**The role**
As part of the Digital Design Strategy Group, you will focus on improving internal service delivery processes and systems to provide better experiences for customers. This will include identifying process improvements, and then designing and delivering solutions to make changes and implement improvements. This is in the context of the front line business migrating from SAP to Salesforce CRM and ongoing enhancements.
The Asssistant Product Owner helps lead Agile ceremonies, works with BA's to ensure user stories deliver voice of customer and the product road map.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Working within a nationally distributed Agile design squad, utilising varied skills within a cross-functional team
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of projects through the design and build phases
- Supporting senior Product Owner presenting outputs and documentation for approval
- Ensuring design & build priorities are clear, delivered and teams and leaders are aware of risks
- Defining product requirements to support development of user stories
- Providing context of key design & build considerations while supporting and enabling teams
- Facilitating stakeholder sessions and showcases with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring product is fit-for-purpose for both customers and internal end users
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in a Product Owner or hybrid Business Analyst role with understanding of product road maps, MVP, voice of customer, prioritisation and reporting
- Strong analytical ability
- Strong virtual facilitation skills and communications and engagement
- Be proactive, autonomous and self-driven
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, and the ability to engage with the business, government agencies, and external digital teams
- Any experience in disability, aged care, not-for-profit, health, government highly regarded
