**About the role**
As the Learning and Development Specialist you will be responsible for the coordination, development and delivery of a range of learning and development activities, for both employees and volunteers, with an on-line learning focus.
You will ensure the development and maintenance of robust learning and development (L&D) systems and processes and will be the point of contact for learning and development queries. This role works in close collaboration with the employment and volunteering teams.
This role is a Fixed term (9 months contract), Full-time position (37.5 hours/ week).
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate experience across the following:
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Tertiary qualifications (diploma or degree) in a relevant discipline or significant experience in the area of training and development
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent is desirable
- Experience developing and administering an online Learning Management System (LMS)
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination, facilitation and delivery of effective learning and development programs
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination, facilitation and delivery of effective work, health and safety learning and development programs
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to assess employee and volunteer L&D needs and identify skill gaps
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision
- Experience in conceptualising, designing, delivering and evaluating high quality development programs, utilising a range of adult learning techniques and methodologies
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in designing L&D to ensure learning outcomes are achieved
