About the role

The Position

The Communications Coordinator operates within the Philanthropy & Engagement Team to ensure that TLC has a visible, engaging profile both in Tasmania and nationally.

Specific duties include the management of content across the organisation’s communication tools, management of the website, cultivation of media relations, crafting fundraising campaign messages, and developing TLC’s key messages and storytelling.

The position on offer is ongoing, full time (1.0 FTE = 76.0 hours / fortnight - part time is negotiable) and based in Hobart, Tasmania. The TLC provides a flexible work environment where a good work-life balance can be maintained.

A remuneration package is offered based on TLC Professional Level 2.3 - 2.6 ($83,000 - $93,000 per annum pro rata plus statutory superannuation) commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience. The commencement rate for this position is between TLC Professional Level 2.3 - 2.5.
