We have an exciting position opening for somebody with a diverse skillset, capable both behind a desk, and at hosting events.

To Do Brisbane is a small startup that runs a variety of events, from trivia nights, to wine tours and boat parties. We run our own events and do own our marketing.

The most common events we run, that you would be responsible for hosting are: tourist day trips and speed dating nights. For the tourist day trips, you would be driving a 12 seat Toyota HiAce Commuter. Whilst a regular driving license is all that is required, some experience driving bigger vehicles would be preferred. If you are comfortable driving a minibus, it's a fantastic job - essentially driving people to the beach.

This job would be part-time, approximately 4 days a week. A big bonus of the job is that each of the 4 days would be quite different. So one day you may be in an office and the next at Noosa beach; and the next running a speed dating night (in Brisbane). You will need to be available some nights and weekend days, but there is a fair bit of flexibility around this.

For a day working in the office, there is a wide variety of tasks to be done. Some tasks would require no previous training/experience such as copying and pasting and proofreading. Other tasks to be done involve graphic design, video editing, writing of copy and other digital marketing related skills. As such, applicants who have any of these digital marketing skills will be highly sought after.

As you can see, the skills required and tasks you will be doing are quite diverse - both a pro and con of working in small business Another big pro of To Do Brisbane is: we run fun events - we have two Halloween Boat Parties coming up this weekend.

The pay for this job will be $27 an hour for admin work in the office, $150 per night for hosting speed dating (approximately 3 hours) and $200-$280 a day for running a day trip.
