As the Regional Building Services Project Coordinator you’ll be supporting the provision of safe blood and blood products by managing the planning, implementation and delivery of the facility project schedule for our Melbourne Processing Centre (MPC). MPC includes testing and processing (manufacturing) labs, research labs, distribution and office facilities.

You’ll handle the administration, performance and compliance of contractors performing works within the facility, its varied systems and equipment (including compliance documentation). You’ll also analyse the scope and deliverables of each project and work with stakeholders and contractors to find best way to deliver on expectations and timelines that are achievable and provide future proofing by considering cost and environmental impacts and minimising waste.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;
Relevant project management experience / technical qualifications in a similar field

Experience in a similar environment in facilities maintenance and systems management with a knowledge or understanding of:
Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS)

Building Management Systems (BMS)

Software based maintenance management systems (e.g. BEIMS)

Security, Access Control and Video Surveillance Systems

Emergency and Exit Lighting control systems

Solid understanding of the planning and scheduling of project work and effective management of contractors

**Experience with the facility systems and equipment we support**:
Fire Control systems

HVAC / Mechanical systems and equipment

Refrigeration systems and equipment (Walk-in cool rooms, walk-in freezers (as low as -35 deg C)

Automated doors and gates

Elevators

Electrical - general power and data, backup generators, and UPS systems

Water systems

Liquid nitrogen reticulation system (supporting the cryogenics labs)

A good working knowledge of the regulatory requirements associated with the Code of GMP.

This is a permanent part time opportunity, 38 hours/fortnight, reporting to the Regional Buliding Services Manager. You can set your schedule and will work at MPC when contractors are onsite, some regional travel may be required, and you can work from home at other times.
