**The Role**
We are seeking motivated individuals to fill current and expected administration and coordination vacancies within the Work Health and Safety Branch. These roles contribute to successful work health and safety outcomes at the enterprise level for Defence people.
Your role may involve working in a high-tempo environment and you will be required to:
- Display initiative, independence and good decision-making in the coordination of governance and reporting tasks on behalf of the Branch;
- Provide support and secretariat for a range of WHS committees;
- Work independently or under limited guidance;
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders on policy, project or operational issues to support Enterprise level WHS issues and safety promotion;
- Be responsible for the supervision of a small team including setting work priorities, providing performance feedback and coaching and contributing to team culture and morale.

- Ability to respond appropriately to dynamic and evolving tasking requirements;
- Negotiate with a variety of stakeholders to manage workloads, timeframes, expectations and escalated enquiries;
- Excellent administration and time management skills and be able to manage competing priorities;
- Ability to gather, analyse and report on customer feedback to manage service offering and delivery;
- Preparation of complex correspondence, reports, and/or policy and procedural documents for review and publication; and
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Previous WHS experience is not required.
