**About The Role**:
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Compare the Market is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Car and Home Insurance to join our team. In this critical Senior Management role, you'll lead and drive the effective delivery of our General Insurance products within the Commercial Division.

With a broad scope across Marketing, Sales, Digital Product, Partner Management, Call Centre Operations, and Strategic Planning, you'll be responsible for the operational and strategic performance of Compare the Market’s Car and Home Insurance businesses. You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance existing features, bring new ones to market, and build expertise in delivering exceptional customer experiences—both online and through our call centre. You'll identify opportunities to streamline interactions and provide efficient and effective solutions that meet customer needs.

As a leader within the General Insurance vertical, you will provide leadership and insights across the organisation, advocating for the success and growth of the Car and Home Insurance verticals. You'll inspire and engage teams and departments, ensuring they are aligned and committed to supporting the ongoing success of Compare the Market’s Car and Home Insurance offerings.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Define the strategic direction for our insurance products, aligning them with business goals, customer needs, and market demands.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and present updates to the Board and Senior Management.
- Develop strong relationships with partners to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction, implementing partner-centric solutions to overcome business challenges.
- Work closely with partners to optimise call centre processes, ensuring efficiencies and an excellent customer experience.
- Oversee daily operations and financial outcomes, managing P&L, cost margins, and compliance to meet performance targets.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to optimise processes and resolve any compliance incidents.
- Partner with marketing teams to drive lead volumes, optimise customer segmentation, and support growth initiatives.
- Utilise data and insights to monitor campaign performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead and develop your team, fostering a culture of innovation, high performance, and commitment to Compare the Market’s values.
- Model the company’s values and contribute to strengthening the brand and culture by positively influencing teams and individuals.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Leadership role.
- Extensive experience in the General Insurance industry.
- A background in Digital B2C businesses, with a track record of success.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that achieve positive business outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to influence others and drive initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Expertise in problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
