We’re on the lookout for a passionate and hands-on Grounds Supervisor to lead our talented team and keep our parks looking their absolute best. If you take pride in presentation, love the outdoors, and know your way around horticulture, this is your chance to combine leadership and green thumb magic in one exciting role

**Key Responsibilities**
Ready to inspire the team, set the standard and deliver exceptional park presentation? You’ll be:

- Leading and motivating the Grounds team to deliver exceptional park presentation.
- Planning, scheduling, and overseeing daily maintenance and inspections across all areas.
- Managing contractors and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Training and supervising safe use of tools, vehicles, and machinery.
- Driving process improvements for efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
- Developing rosters, managing budgets, and maintaining stock and inventory.
- Rolling up your sleeves and getting involved in hands-on operational tasks.
- Supporting VRTP’s sustainability goals, including water conservation and eco-friendly landscaping.
- Championing guest experience through proactive maintenance and quick resolution of park issues.

**What We’re Looking For**
Supervise, energize and bring your green thumb across our parks. You’ll bring:

- Proven leadership and supervisory experience, including performance management and staff development.
- Strong skills in rostering, labor management, and team scheduling.
- Certificate III in Horticulture (essential); Certificate IV or Diploma (advantageous).
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, delegation, and leadership skills with a focus on quality.
- Solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Manual driver’s license (required); EWP/High Risk license (advantageous).
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP or Maximo experience are highly desirable.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for quality and teamwork.
- Comfortable working around domestic and wild animal.
