Company

We are a privately owned builder-developer seeking a Site Supervisor. Initially you will be looking after a boutique townhouse project in Southport, comprising 6 attached 3 storey homes with high quality finishes. The total project value is approximately $7M and the programme will run for approximately 12 months. Following this, you will manage another quality residential development in the central Gold Coast area.

Role

As Site Supervisor, you will be the key site presence, supervise the delivery of townhouse construction, coordinate trades, manage site operations, and ensure quality, safety, and program alignment. You will work closely with the Company Director to drive progress and maintain high standards across all stages of the build.

Duties will include:

  • Initial subcontractor trade pricing and letting
  • Daily site attendance and overseeing day-to-day site operations from ground and civil works to final completion
  • Coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries
  • Manage, coordinate and supervise subcontractors
  • Drive progress on-site to meet program
  • Monitor quality and ensure high quality homes are delivered in line with plans and specifications
  • Safety management, prioritising site safety is critical, ensuring all site staff and contractors are following WHSE procedures and ensuring works are undertaken safely
  • Be conscious of project budget and completing works in the most efficient manner possible

Who we are looking for

  • Carpentry trade background and qualification (Certificate III minimum)
  • At least 7 years experience on residential construction projects, experience with townhouses highly regarded
  • Ideally some experience as a site supervisor on townhouse or multi-res projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
  • Strong understanding of Gold Coast trade base
  • Reliable, skilled tradesperson with strong attention to detail who takes pride in quality workmanship
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to assist trades in various aspects of work where required such as set-outs, framing, fix-outs, cladding etc
  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction highly regarded
  • QBCC Site Supervisors License (or ability to obtain) highly regarded
  • Knowledge of workplace, health and safety requirements
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Own vehicle and tools
