We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance - Gardener to join our team and uphold our high standards of landscape and grounds maintenance.
Job Description: As the Gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance and aesthetics of the shopping centre's interior & exterior spaces. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all grounds & gardens are impeccably maintained, safe, and visually appealing. You will work with a team of other groundskeepers and a supervisor to ensure that all landscaping tasks are performed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the grounds maintenance team.
- Maintain of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, walkways, and parking areas.
- Follow seasonal landscaping plans, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation schedules.
- Ensure the timely removal of litter, debris and garden waste to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention and improvement.
- Promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all company's policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Qualification in horticulture, landscaping, or related field highly desired
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and horticultural practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to provide and follow instructions
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is a requirement for this position.
