We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance - Gardener to join our team and uphold our high standards of landscape and grounds maintenance.

Job Description: As the Gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance and aesthetics of the shopping centre's interior & exterior spaces. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all grounds & gardens are impeccably maintained, safe, and visually appealing. You will work with a team of other groundskeepers and a supervisor to ensure that all landscaping tasks are performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the grounds maintenance team.
  • Maintain of lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, walkways, and parking areas.
  • Follow seasonal landscaping plans, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation schedules.
  • Ensure the timely removal of litter, debris and garden waste to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention and improvement.
  • Promote a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all company's policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in horticulture, landscaping, or related field highly desired
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and horticultural practices.
  • Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to provide and follow instructions
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license is a requirement for this position.
