**About Us**
BGC Concrete is an industry leading business with multiple plant locations throughout the Perth metro area. We supply the full range of concrete mixes with services which include site inspection, mix design information from our experienced technical team, complete packages for residential supply and install, concrete pumping, Portabatch 2000 Sunstate Engineering mobile plants and precast.

**he Opportunity**

This role will suit an individual who is looking to grow and develop in their career. As the Senior Work Health and Safety Advisor, you will be exposed to a broad variety of health and safety-related functions and will play a key role in driving the work health and safety activities and a positive safety culture across our concrete operations.

Your typical day will include:

- Providing Work Health and Safety advice, coaching and support to all workers
- Developing best practice in Work Health and Safety matters through inspection, audit, investigation and corrective action
- Driving consistent and continuous improvement in Work Health and Safety practices and standards
- Reviewing, updating, and delivering internal training including assessment and recommendations of Work Health Safety development needs
- Maintaining systems, process and data to monitor and report on Work Health and Safety performance

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Previous experience in a Senior Work, Health and Safety role within a construction, mining or industrial environment
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, mentoring and developing diverse teams
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety
- Thorough understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation, regulations and standards
