QPTS have partnered exclusively with one of our international clients who provide world-wide support in the mining and industrial sectors. Our client currently has 2 exciting opportunities for experienced Health and Safety Advisors to join their WA team. You will be responsible for creating and promoting a positive and safe health culture within the onsite workplace. The role will be for a3-month contract with a very strong possibility of an extension This role is FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster to Port Hedland and Pilbara.

**You will be responsible for**:
Promoting a safe onsite working environment and the ongoing development of risk management principles.
Working closely with site supervisors and superintendents to investigate safety incidents, report on incidents and take corrective management action.
Identifying any potential breaches and advising on correct procedure.
Promoting safety awareness, and injury and incident prevention.
Making improvements and further developing HSE Management System and processes.
Monitoring legislative changes and take appropriate measures to ensure compliance is maintained.
Ensuring correct systems are in place for hazardous work.

**About you**:
Our client is looking for 2 experienced Health and Safety Advisors with a passion for ensuring all employees go home the same way they came to work. Additionally, you will have:
Minimum of 3 years experience within an operational or contractor environment, with exposure to the WA FIFO industry.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards
An ability to engage and develop relationships across all levels of the organisation and with client stakeholder
Working with heights, gas test and confined spaces tickets
Drivers License
