The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and committed Safety Advisor to join our team in the Perth office with regular travel to lands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide direct WHS and risk management advice to the assigned department manager, supporting frontline operations.
- Conduct and participate in toolbox talks, facilitate JHA/SWMS compliance, and assist with contractor WHS management.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; document the findings in the WHS database.
- Conduct behavioural observations and site verifications to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Support emergency readiness and response activities in the field.
- Recommend WHS induction requirements for new personnel and contractors.
- Track compliance actions and maintain accurate records to support ISO certification, including audit readiness and reporting.
- Maintain Safety Management System (MyOsh) content.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
- Strong practical experience in site-based WHS roles.
- Ability to work independently in diverse operational environments and maintain accurate records.
