This leading agency is the administrative agency through which the Electoral Commissioner’s legislative obligations are exercised. This agency is committed to ensuring that its policies and practices reflect good governance as well as complying with all relevant legislation.

**Your new role**

As a key member of the Finance and Corporate Governance team, reporting directly to the Manager Compliance and Risk, the position will support the implementation of the organisations risk management policy and framework in alignment with the organisations objectives. The position will significantly contribute to the organisation’s effective governance by working with teams across all levels of the business in delivering a positive risk culture and supporting open and timely communication about risk.

Key accountabilities:

- Contribute to the planning and implementation of the risk management system
- Develop tools, guides, training and processes that support trams across the organisation to comply with the risk management framework
- Contribute to the organisations risk management system by developing and delivering regular
reports on risk
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with senior internal stakeholders involve din managing risk across the organisation, support them with the implementation of good risk practice

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in implementing risk policies and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of risk principles and concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate optimal outcomes.
- Well-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills that can provide innovative solutions and advice.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills that can relate to all levels of management, staff, and stakeholders.
- Strong team player, hands-on and ability to work autonomously or within a small team.
- Desirable: Experience working within a governance, risk, or compliance function in the public sector.
