Description

As a Senior Settlements Specialist at Driva, you’ll take ownership of car loan application workflows and act as a senior support partner to sales agents across the business. You will manage settlement tasks across all lenders and sale types, including both private and dealer transactions, while also playing a critical role in supporting the wider settlements team.

This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in the finance or lending industry, who not only delivers high-quality settlements but also contributes to process improvement, team onboarding, and operational excellence. You’ll be a key contact for team knowledge sharing and workflow refinement.

What you will do

- Manage high-complexity deals across all lender partners and both dealer and private sales
- Order and follow up on tax invoices from dealers; ensure all documentation aligns with lender requirements
- Liaise with private sellers to book inspections and collect required documentation for private sale invoice generation
- Generate and review loan contracts with a strong eye for accuracy and compliance
- Submit complete and compliant settlement packs to lenders, following the correct processes for each lender
- Provide support to junior team members by helping manage workloads and troubleshooting blockers
- Assist in training new team members
- Maintain and update internal documentation, checklists, and knowledge base content
- Work closely with the team lead to identify workflow issues and contribute to continuous improvement
- Be a point of contact for lender-specific queries and process escalations
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (sales, credit, operations) and external stakeholders (dealers & lenders)

KPIS

- Deliver consistently high volumes of compliant, on-time settlements
- Minimal handbacks or rework due to documentation or process issues
- Proactive contributions to team efficiency, documentation upkeep, and training
- Support peers and junior team members in managing their pipelines
- Accurately update CRM and maintain high standards of internal communication

What we are looking for in this hire

- Experience in the finance industry, ideally in loan settlements, lending operations, or broker support roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide and support team members
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise across a high-volume workload
- Confident using CRM and various lender platforms
- Experience in training, onboarding, or mentoring others in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving ability with a continuous improvement mindset
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a time-sensitive environment
