**About Liquor & Gaming NSW**

Liquor & Gaming NSW administers the regulatory framework for the liquor, gaming, wagering, casino and registered clubs sectors in NSW. This includes undertaking compliance and enforcement activities, providing policy advice to government, licensing certain activities and delivering industry support and education activities.

Lead a specialist team to deliver strategic and operational programs of work across a range of revenue assurance practice areas to ensure all revenue streams are sound and protected and to ensure the achievement of Hospitality & Racing’s revenue assurance objectives.

**Essential Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead and manage revenue governance and assurance programs to ensure organisational and government requirements are met and program outcomes are delivered to the highest standards.
- Lead and oversee all aspects of project development, implementation and closure across a portfolio of complex projects, including preparing business cases and project plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and in line best practice project management methodology.
- Prepare and present strategic plans, policy frameworks, committee papers, briefings, and reports, including analysis and recommendations on governance and revenue assurance activities and initiatives, to internal and external stakeholders to minimise exposure, meet industry and financial integrity standards and achieve business outcomes.
- Maintain a strategic understanding of regulation and revenue assurance priorities and challenges to expertly lead the translation of these into measurable governance solutions and services to meet customer needs and division priorities.
- Lead engagement with stakeholders, negotiate and influence outcomes, manage issues, and build awareness and capability in the team to ensure quality and assurance outcomes are achieved.
- Maintain awareness of relevant issues, regulatory obligations, insights, challenges, industry trends and practices, and opportunities to identify, pursue, evaluate, recommend and deliver innovative solutions that optimise outcomes and contribute to a best practice governance and revenue assurance function in line with division and Government priorities
- Lead and undertake research, analysis and review of complex issues, identifying emerging issues and developing evidence-based options and strategies, to ensure problems are resolved and risks are mitigated.
