This is a great opportunity for an Estimating Manager who is looking to grow with the view of eventually transition into a Pre-Contracts Manager role.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the below:

- Develop, monitor and pursue opportunity pipelines.
- Develop pre-contract commercial strategies.
- Estimator Lead.
- Networking and Business Development.
- Networking and utilising industry contacts to gauge pre-project tenders.
- Manage the tender process and occasionally prepare tender submissions including both commercial and non-commercial aspects.
- Oversee the estimating process, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with company goals and to Lead, mentor, and develop the estimating team, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Continual specification development, research and improvements to tendering process, quote creation and approvals, variation costing and finalisation accounting processes.
- Up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Conducting contract negotiations with subcontractors & suppliers and managing significant claims and conflict resolution as required and Assist Project Managers to assess contract notices, claims, and disputes.

**Skills & Qualifications required**:

- Minimum 3 year’s experience in an Estimation Management Role within the construction industry.
- Focus on maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline engineering, construction / project management or commercial law.
- Experience with Tier 1 and 2 civil contractors both client side and contracting.
- Varied experience in project lifecycle delivery from tender through to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Organisation and ability to maintain accurate and up to date records.
