We are looking for an Estimating Manager who takes pride in creating order, driving momentum, and leading a capable team. This Brisbane builder has a strong reputation, a consistent pipeline of work, and a culture built around teamwork and quality delivery. They are seeking someone who can combine technical precision with the calm confidence of a natural leader.

In this role, you will take ownership of the estimating function ensuring accuracy across every BOQ, purchase order, and variation, while keeping projects moving efficiently through to site. You will work hand in hand with construction, drafting, and procurement, solving problems before they slow things down and keeping communication clear across the business. Your input will be valued, your leadership trusted, and your systems mindset will help shape a smoother, more connected workflow.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and mentor a small estimating team to deliver accurate and consistent work

  • Review BOQs, estimates, and purchase orders to maintain quality and control

  • Ensure plans, specifications, and variations are costed correctly the first time

  • Maintain supplier and trade pricing to protect cost integrity

  • Refine processes to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks

  • Collaborate with construction, drafting, and procurement to ensure seamless handovers

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in residential estimating within a builder environment

  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience with a small team

  • Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to workflow

  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Databuild, Onsite Companion, or BuildSoft

  • A practical, detail-focused mindset with the ability to problem-solve quickly
