**About you**
- You are an experienced General Practice Medical Receptionist with knowledge in Best Practice (highly regarded) with a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
- You posses a high level of attention to detail
- You are able to work as part of a team and autonomously and can communicate with doctors, patients and other staff members with ease.
- You are empathetic, kind-hearted, flexible, supportive and have a strong work ethic.

**About the role**
As a medical receptionist your role will include but not be limited to the following
- Manage all phone enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner.
- Front of house reception / Greeting patients on arrival.
- Diary management including scheduling appointments, minor procedures, vaccinations, skin checks, sending out referrals and more.
- Issuing invoices to patients and third parties.
- Processing Medicare rebates as required.
- Entering and updating patient details.
- Ensuring reception and patient waiting area is always clean and presentable.
